| La prima fase della creazione dell'aeroporto di Schiphol risale al 1961-1967, quando venne costruito il terminal progettato da M.F. Duintjer e F.C. de Weger. Successivamente l'aeroporto è stato oggetto di ammodernamenti e ampliamenti. Nel 1988 lo studio Benthem Crouwel di Amsterdam ha ricevuto l'incarico di redigere un nuovo piano regolatore per l'intera "città" di Schipol. |
