|
|
|
 Built in 1928 on the Bormes-les-Mimosas coast, the Villa La Reine Jeanne illustrates an example of a holiday home, which was booming in the region at that time. Devised as space devoted to entertaining and culture as well being able to receive thirty or so guests, La Reine Jeanne sits calmly amongst this pine and cork oak forest.
 Its eclectic, vernacular — employing local resources — and modernist architecture exhibit a particular era, climate and area: that of the Cote d’Azur. |
