Of course an industrial buildingsite at the slope is favourable. And the building also had to be favourable. For a profile dealer who intends to address "irregular customers" of the highway we suggest a simple steel pipe. This lies in the slope, where it is supplied with trucks and it takes off, where it lets the customers park under itself. And to the highway it says clearly: here i am! The pipe is closed, only at its forehead it uncovers a panorama view in the valley. The discussion area and the entrance are attached as second generation of metal tubing and give the industrial building its "loopy" characteristic.
An expressive construction attracts attention as premises for a commercial firm. the heavily used main road becomes a “spectators gallery”. The underlying ground is only light touched by the building which hovers at the edge of the road.
The entrance creates a threshold to the showroom – creating tension and setting the stage.
The intersection of simple and clear construction modules creates an unmistakeable object. The ingredients come from conventional industrial construction. Hovering above the slope avoids expensive groundwork.
