 Il Goetheanum I (1913/1920) fu costruito come sede della "Società Antroposofica", movimento fondato dallo stesso Steiner; costruito in legno, fu distrutto da un incendio nel 1922.
Alla morte di Steiner, nel 1925, erano state gettate solo le fondamenta del nuovo edificio in cemento armato, che fu portato a compimento dal norvegese Eppel seguendo fedelmente il progetto di Steiner. |
